The Christina Ponder "Coming of Age" party took place in Atlatl. A harried first half that had the Falchions invade the backfield of the ViQueens amounted to exactly what we had planned for - a score on Turn 8 and no time left for the Falchions to score. Alas the fans had other plans as they invaded the pitch to get Adrienne Peterson's autograph... and the ref's gave Atlatl more time on the clock. THe Falchions made the most of it and pushed enough of the key defenders out of the way for R'dy Wite to scamper through. 1-1 at the half.
2nd half is where ryan grabbed that stick I handed him. We set up for a blitz that I had prayed for the night before... and Nuffle came through. How'd the Atlatl 'n' Falchions like having their backfield invaded?!?... yeah - not so fun, is it? :) The girls had them on their spiked heels the remainder of the game, and while they fought valiantly, Ponder is asserting herself as a future star.
