“The Marauders are officially on a roll now... in their last four games, they've outscored the opponent 13-2, and led 12-1 on casualties. This was a game against a significantly higher-ranked chaos team, and it was no exception... some lucky KO/injury rolls early gave us an advantage on numbers, and we rode that through to the end -- while his skilled players and guarders made it close at times, chaos and pact are mostly very similar at mid-TR, so being up 2-3 men most of the game proved pretty decisive.

Of course, one of the biggest differences between the two teams is the elf. And yes, Posdnuos was the deserving MVP (even if we wish the award had gone elsewhere)... 28 yards rushing, two TDs and a completion tell the story. He never threw a block, and I'm not sure if the opponents ever got their hands on him either. (Meanwhile on the other side of the field, +AG beastman Poussin accumulated almost as many rushing yards, but only one TD. Also, an apothecary had to save him from dying. He's a good player, and I'm glad to see he made it through.)

Downsides? Not much... we didn't suffer any casualties, and while the opposition scored one TD, that's no horrible thing. Ali Shaheed had his first game without a casualty, but he KOed their claw/MB/guard warrior for much of the first half, so he did his part.
