“This was the definition of a beatdown. It seemed both apothecaries wanted the night off, as both sides got a fail on a RIP. I started with the kick off to me, and proceeded to show just how many things could go wrong, in particular with some questionable coaching choices and an ill timed misclick. I left some gaping holes in my line (what was left of it), and let Sammy Lee loop a pass over to Steve Nicol, putting myself down 1-0. I was down 9 vs 10 by the half, thankfully his star blitzer knocked himself out on a dodge. He started up the field when my goblin decided single handedly to try and win the game for me. He shrugged off a good 4-5 tackles, and would likely have run into the endzone had I not made another poor call in my blocking efforts and left him to be surfed. At least he did manage to get the ball deep enough that a couple of my players were able to pull off a few lucky dodge/gfi/1d blocks to tie it up in T15. Of course, the hapless bugger that got the TD died to a block immediately after on the next kick off. Kudos to my opponent, who did his best to laugh at a draw that had no business being a draw. Hopefully we can have a rematch sometime after my team rests in the infirmary.”
