“Nuffle favored the mostly-asleep orc coach tonight, that's for sure. The norse made every die roll that didn't matter, and failed every die roll that was actually important.

First half, the norse received and scored an easy early TD. This was followed by a deep kick and a lot of bumbling around by the orcs, climaxing in an absurd 6+ pass to a Bob for the gfi'd TD at the end of the first half, tying up the score.

Second half, the orcs received a short kick, milled around aimlessly, and failed to pickup the ball, nearly resulting in a Norse possession. The orcs then managed to do a 4+ pickup, 3+ dodge, 2+ gfi, 4+ handoff (oops, disturbing presence) to get the ball clear. The norse snaked the dodge for a 2d blitz, leaving the orcs to wander drunkenly in for their second TD.

That left 5 turns for the norse to score, but once again, nuffle struck. Norse RR's were rapidly exhausted on skulled blocks and failed dodges. Despite this, the norse ball carrier marched downfield, making a mockery of poor orc positioning, only to fail a gfi on the goal line. The throw-in was right next to a gaggle of orcs, who spent the last two turns of the game wondering if they should pick up the ball or just huddle around it and keep it warm.
