Nocturne Falls welcomes it's newest resident: Leroy Bluefield

The front office has informed us that Leroy has officially made the team. It comes at a good time too because Heath and Amy were wanting too much money. And the riders on Ms. Winehouse's contract were simply ridiculous. Who wants that much wine, liquor, and beer before a game anyway? Oh wait...I guess I don't have much to say about that. :P

Well. At least we had some offense this game. Our Mummies armor and our ghoul's dodging abilities still seem to be suspect. Our defense is terrible with 3 games and 9 TD's against. But we're living up to our namesake and leading the tourney in CAS, even from 16th place.

HONEY BADGER DON'T CARE ABOUT SCORING TOUCHDOWNS! Honey Badger just wants to eat some nasty brains!

It looks like the Geldings will be next on the list and someone will officially claim the bottom spot.

#17 Paul Dirtystone – Fractured Arm (MNG)
#18 Leroy Bluefield – Dead (RIP)
Finally, the Missiles get some offense going!

The Badgers received first but the Missiles were able to get a steal and turn it into a quick TD. Unfortunately, the Badgers spent the rest of the first half in a brutal funeral march that tied the game and also stole a journeyman via killing and resurrecting him for Badgers!

The second half the Missiles received and scored another quick TD to go up 2-1, but again the elves were unable to keep the undead from smashing through to get the equalizer.

At this point, the Missiles had two turns left and everything to play for. The coaching staff challenged the team to live up to the expectations that were put to them from the beginning of the season: Play like elves!

Luckily, the Missiles were able to open a gap and flood the backfield. The Badgers did their best to mark all the possible receivers, but in the end, Liam Lasereye connected with Miles Smokewater, who made the catch and blitzed through the last defense into the endzone for the winning TD.

While the coaching staff was thrilled to finally mark one in the win column, the game also showed that the Missiles may continue struggling to keep teams out of the endzone, which will in turn put more pressure on the offense to score TDs.

Coach Joe P said of the game, "We've got to figure out to manage the clock better, and keep our guys out on the pitch". He paused before adding, "It's also preferable to not have one of our journeymen playing for the other team, trying to eat our guy's brains."
