“The AA brought in a nasty little git by the name of Nobbla Blackwart for the game, despite protests from the Hamilton front office staff. Such was the uproar that no one noticed the wizard skulking around the Winnipeg sidelines. Hamilton received the ball and headed down the field as per usual, Dieter Brock with the ball securely in hand. Then the wizard struck KO'd a pair of players AND stunned Dieter momentarily. Luckily the ball landed near by in and the Tiger Pact was able to collect the ball. The rest of the half remained fairly well controlled, finishing with the TIger PAct scoring and the Airstrike narrowly missing an equalizer. The second half was naught but Mahem as the NObbla stepped on the pitch. Combined with the inability of the surely drunk gobos to dodge, it was a rivetting second half, and fortunately the PAct were able to hang on (barely) as PAct players started leaving the field in pieces.

Earnest Cox got the MVP nod and the Pact coaches continue to wonder what exactly the judges are smoking. Zambiasi may have actually earned the coach's MVP for once.
