“Sigh, another early exit at the hands of Elves. IT did take a superb Wizard hit and a lats turn OTS but its still frustrating. I wouldnt mind so much if I could at least hurt a few of them! 53 Blocks and only one Cas. Pretty poor return.
Still, it was a fun game with lots of interesting moments. If only I could get the ST5 warrior up to the next skill I might be able to get some Tents!
Good luck in the next round. That should be real elfball action!”
“The chaos were able to counter early, because I focused too much on surfing his uber BC Roboskunk. Their counter was followed by an easy 2TTD from the elves.
This left the chaos a bashing turn, in which they RIP'd my guard kicker whom I did not apo, expecting to see better players hurt. =(
My kicking half thus started on a 1-1 score, with 9 elves on the pitch. A deep kick led to a 3 person wedge just within reach. The wizard knocked down all 3, including a stun on the S5A4 blodge sure hands BC. by superior speed, I was able to control the game for several turns from there on.
Roboskunk managed some freaky dodges to infiltrate the delf screen, and in response I focused so much energy on surfing him, that I did not get (/feel) safe enough to stall. Still, managing to get two injury rolls on a player like that is a good thing, I guess.
This premature elven touchdown allowed the chaos several turns in which to score the 2/2 equalizer (in part due to a mistake with an unnecessary block, which cost a reroll due to double-skulling). I did not much fancy the odds of overtime, but luckily I did not need to face those odds, as I managed my very first chainpush 1TTD ever on turn 16.
Stej, thanks for the game: you were a fun opponent in chat, and a challenging one in-game. I made some mistakes and needed luck to recover from them.”
