Epic back and forth encounter that could have gone either way.

Dorfs started the first half with the ball, and had thing pretty much their own way, altho the undead did rally to put them pressure on them, forcing them to score in T6. The undead countered and made it 1-1 in T8 with a lucky bounce after their ball carrier got stripped near the end zone.

Second half saw the undead go 2-1 up in T5, leaving the dorfs only 4 turns to reply, but a riot made this 5 allowing the dorfs to make it 2-2 in T15, while reducing the undead to 9. So, to OT.

Dorfs get the kickoff, and receive, 11 v 9. Undead remove a couple of dorfs making it 9 v9, and then zombies started leaving the pitch. Desperation stuff. Dorfs move down the left, undead - now rather outnumbered - try their last gasp plan. Wizzie lightning blots the dorf runner, ag 4 ghoul dodges, picks up in a TZ, dodges, gfis twice, and long throws the ball downfield. Safe! 2 turns left, only zombies and long beards in range. T7, one zombie frees the other with a 1d block, and Damien Plessis runs, gfis, picks up, gfis again. 4 squares from end zone. Dorfs can only put a runner in TZ contact with Plessis, and he 1d blitzes - push - and then gfis for the game winning TD.

Woot.

GG Cyrus, as you said, a match that could have gone either way. fortunately for the undead they had the lucky zombie when it mattered.
