“I thought I'd lost this game before it had even started, as I transfered the wrong amount of cash - I wanted a Chef, I had enough for a Babe...oops!
Thus very short of rerolls, and receiving first, the Halflings gave up turnover after turnover, with the Goblins doing the same! Finally the flings made a drive down their right flank, and with some major Troll roadblocks in the way, managed to squeeze through and score.
However, the Goblins setup for a TTM, and it worked flawlessly, leaving the halftime score 1-1.
The Halflings had it all to do in the second half, and got out of the blocks first with a Blitz, a TTM putting pressure on the Goblins to retrieve the ball quickly. The Treemen bore down on the Trolls, in one move, Silverbark Greatbough blitzed Crush the Troll - with some thought, I rerolled the double skulls, and thanked Nuffle I had used my last reroll so, as he took him out, forcing the Apothecary to tend to his wounds.
Outnumbered, the Goblins retreated into their own half, their remaining Troll locked in combat with the other Treeman, and Halflings in hot pursuit. A struggle ensued for the ball, and eventually, with the sacrifice of Cedric Crumbsley, one of the team's two Wrestle players, the agile Rumwell Vinesby ran in his second TD of the match - he needed a pickup and 2 GFIs, with no rerolls, and he managed it.
This decided the first NIBBLE stunty derby, and ended Wolbum's Season 1 title hopes!”

Match highlights involved Lebglum da Squig Rida deploying his patented Squig parachute to land perfectly behind the halfling lines and thanks to his speedy boots of speeding, managed to dart past their defences to score a touchdown.
Another highlight involved shank wielding Snotzag being caught by the referee after his personal Gut Stabba broke upon the near impenetrable bark of a downed treeman. The referee gleefully sent off the infuriated Goblin and it was of convenient note that after the match, the referee promptly disappeared. Local authoriteis are looking for his current whereabouts.
With the landmines failing to go off and the halflings even more eager having heard of their fallen comrade [And cancelled post-match meal!], the match concluded 2-1 to their favour.
The head coach Geralt Yivaril however, was not deterred. He commented "In spite of those Hobbits gaining the upper hand and my preperations for my Gobbos, this season has been nothing short of remarkable. My collegues and family whom insisted leading Goblins beyond the bottom rankings would be a Blood Bowl impossibility. Having now been disproven, I have high hopes for the future of my Gits!"
The players on the other hand were not so optimistic, one Goblin commenting :
"Dem stinkin half pint runts nicked our ball and scored one of dem touchdown fings. I had set 'nuff zoggin traps dat not even one of dem Stunty Gits coulda made it through wivout blowin ter squig dung. Whoever one of you lot out dere gave me dem bombz, I am coming for you! Mark my wordz you stinkin git!"
Head coach Geralt Yivaril, has denied accusations levelled at his team, amongst them the aftermentioned deployement of land mines, kidnapping, murder and the apparent robbery of local plushy producer "Wee Guyz", whom are renowned for their production of soft toy Blood Bowl celebrities and monsters.
OC: I found this match very enjoyable and intense,though what stunty match isnt? While Colin has already said almost everything which needs to be said, I have thoroughly enjoyed my first season of NIBBLE and this climatic match with the rival stunties was both nail biting and a thrill. Thank you for the match mate and me gobbos will be out for revenge next season!
