The first half went more or less as expected, Virus tried to inflict some damage and crawled in for the T8 TD. A server crash ate up our longest living rotter so far, as the reload turned out a bit differently.

A OTT attempt by FD failed quickly.

The second half started with a touchback and Virus was prepared for a long-ish grind when the ball was handed to Ramas. Apparently, though, Melissa was considering a push for a quick TD. (I can only speculate here, as personally I would have considered moving the BC deep and exposing him to a blitz there too dangerous) Justelis moved in to assist, but his bad leg forced him to go for it twice and the second failed, leaving Ramas exposed to an easy blitz.

Herpes B picked up the ball and could have walzed home with it - which might have been the safest option.

However, Mumps was sitting at 29 spp, so i really wanted a TD by him and with FD's large bench i wasn't convinced i'd get a third shot. Unfortunately he was tied up at that time, so we had to burn a few turns and allow 2 (not too easy) blitzes on the ball by Justelis.

In the end, that ghoul's bad leg turned out decisive again, as once more he stumbled on a GFI, not to return this time - I suppose he might be looking at retirement now.

At that point Mumps only had to pick up the ball and walk in. Consequently he now feels very nimble :).
