Knew going into the game it was going to be tough against one of the top Elf coaches in the game.
Got a good Fireball in the first half that helped me secure a TD. Did some damage on turn 8 1st half that prevented him from being able to stall out the entire 2nd half.
He scored easily in the 2nd half, we in turn got a score to send the game to OT.
Lost the coin toss :(
Very good chance to win had we won the toss.

Really tight game. First half icesmooth fumbled the pass to score and we got the ball for a little while. Then wizard got enough guys down to stripball and a good bounce for the darkelves sealed the turn 5 score. Pro elves got a good offence after that but lost 2 major players in the last turn. 1-1 after 1st half.
2nd half was 9 vs 11 and quickly we went to 8. Managed to score on turn 5 and after a riot dark elves had 3 turns to score. Pro elves overcommitted on the fumbled pickup and forgot to leave anyone to play the sweeper and dark elves had an easy score in turn 8.
Overtime pro elves received and after a first turn break through the defense had 3 guys in scoring position. Dark elves got one down and marked one with 3 guys but left Miltiades with only man marking him. Another lino blitzed him free and after 3+ pass Miltiades had 2+ catch and 2x 2+ gfi. Made it :)
I won!
Damn that feels good. Have had a few good runs in majors previously and really thought that the Black Cup is about the worst possible enviroment for pro elves. 8 rounds of games vs blackbox teams didn't sound too promising. Had major luck with injuries throughout the whole cup. The final was the first game where we went to 11 men. With av7 that's silly.
Faced 2 of the 3 scariest teams in blackbox (imo ofc and also counting the coaching ability in there): Azure Claw Squad (coach Azure) and Principi (coach Tarabaralla). Lucked both but still won them. Third is obviously coach Randomoracle's Chuck Versus Blood Bowl. And of course all the other coaches: Qaz, GiovanniRippattoni, King_Ghidra, BooAhl (yet again in a major), Uuni and Icesmooth, cheers to all for good games.
