“First Regular season match for the Mutants as they face off against their bitter Conference rivals the Celtic Bostons.

No one knows much about the enigmatic Bostons, as they seem to not spend any money on advertising or endorsements.

The teams lined up and the Bostons fans wasted no time taking out there hate on Mutants. One fan hurled a rock at Mega Burner, knocking him out. The Norse then pushed and smacked the Skaven defense back on its heels. But the Mutants were able to get a few rats into the backfield, which posed a problem for the Norse ball handlers.

Mutants coaching staff responded to the defensive effort after the match with this quote "Raaaaaar!"

The Mutants had an opportunity to score but Ultra Blazer couldn't dodge his way around the Norse defenders. The Norse scooped up the ball and tried to pass it downfield but the the Bright Sun was too much for the Norse thrower and the half ended scoreless.

The Mutants received and advanced the ball into Norse territory looking for the early score. Pressure from the Bostons defense had the Mutant Runner, Doctor Magnus scampering into the endzone early in the half. 1-0 Mutants.

Hoping for a repeat performance of their first half defense the Mutants took the field with the Mutant support urging them on. The Norsemen collected the ball and showed just how serious they were by Breaking Mutant Lineman Patch's arm, collecting the ball, securing the ball and starting their drive in fine form. The Mutants were never able to stall the Norse drive with their numbers dwindling. Blitzer Ripgutz collected the skull of Ladislas Krstic but it was not enough to keep the Bostons from leveling the score 1-1.

After the match the Mutant coaching staff had this to say about the result,"Blarg! rrrrRRRRRR!! Hisssssss!!!"”
