“3: Chahkamnit for sacking the ball carrier twice to get the touch down.
2: Zarkingu for taking out the minotaur.
1: Imhullu for the big pass that should have been a touch down had Barashkukor not tripped over his feet.”
The Gunts lost the coin toss, but coach Angryman chose to kick rather than receive. The gobbo Will laid the boot into the only big guy that was on the front line immediately, and KO'd him. Attempting to get to the ball early in the Pact turn went bad with a failed GFI. Perses the minotaur was the next in the firing line, being badly hurt by a Piling On Zarkingu, unfortunately the Apoth managed to patch him up ready to play the next round. The first block for the next turn by the rats ended with a both down, putting their position even further behind. With a mighty blitz the pact boys cleared the ball and picked it up. With some desperate scrambling, the Grunts managed to get the ball into the endzone for a 1-0 lead, however Gork the unstoppable managed to receive the bacll, be thrown without being eaten, then dodge through the line without the slightest hiccup for the evening TD, leaving the score at 1-1 at the end of the first half. An easy drive with all three of the big guys back on the pitch saw the Dieties get ahead 2-1 with only 4 turns left in the match. Gobbo Magda made a heroic dash through TZ, picking up the ball in TZ to dodge back out and go for it to score the equalizer with just a single turn left. Another attempted Throw Team Mate by the Deities ended up in blood, with Gork being killed in a bad landing.
This game was a random mix of good and bad luck, with everybody having their turn, ending up tied, nuffle being content to have had fun.
