“Season 8 has officially kicked off with , as the expansion Pactsonville Pactuars took advantage of a couple early injuries to eke out a 2-2 draw against defending AFC #1 seed Tennessee.

Official play of the game went to star Elven Titans wardancer Anika Moon, who laid out a defender on a 1db and proceeded to juke, jive and jump her way past 5 Pact defenders (including Ugroth Bolgrot, who had just gone for it twice to chainsaw the ball-carrier) to pick up the ball in the end zone. Moon scored both the team's TDs, and was rightfully awarded the MVP, taking her to 60 SPP in only 11 games.

The Pactuars submitted more of a team effort, with 7 different players earning SPPs, but only QB Blood for the Blood Garrard (2 completions) earned them multiple times on the field. Marauder Clint Slaaneshion was awarded the MVP for setting the tone early, knocking Titans rookie Karl Klug out of the game with a Turn 1 block.”
