“As the ball sailed into the Khemri half, the heavens opened and the pitch was quickly waterlogged. These are the conditions Khemri fear, and their Thro-Ra duly fluffed the pick-up. The Kneecappers surged forward to apply pressure, and a blitz by their Ogre scattered the ball into the Pact team's lines. A Jimmy Kilburn scooped the wet ball up and surged town the left flank with several team-mates in support. The Khemri were struggling to get back, and could only man-mark the Marauder in their backfield. With support from his Ogre teammate, he blitzed free (a rerolled double skulls!) and scored. 1-0

With 4 turns left Reluctant Restart were hard-pushed to score, and were left too much to do when the Thro-Ra was sacked by the Troll. Half-time 1-0

The second half defence started brightly for the Kneecappers, and they quickly sacked the ball carrier - however, the ball-scattered into the hand of a Tomb Guardian, and they had to do their best to slow the behemoth down. He was finally stopped by the Ogre at the death.”
