Coach Thunderhead had watched the game, and had been somewhat impressed ith the way the dwarves handled the norse who outnumbered them, and could outrun them too!
Caution was the keyword, dont let the small stature of the dwarves make you underestimate them he said!
Also there was focus on the thrower from Thunder, lots of fans were there, and even extra referees were there to watch thunder as welL!
Thunder was kicking, dwarves in a thick line up against Thunders line, Troll was put down. Lots of blocks, grunz was hurt trying to block a troll slayer, and Thunder was outbumbered - at least for the time.
Zarak went close to the ball that hadnt been picked up yet, Wurzag followed, while the rest of Thunder exchanged blocks with the hard headed dwarves. Now the dwarves went for the ball, knocked Zarak aside and picked it up.
Wurzag went for the blitz, but didnt get the dwarf down. Ushar was KOed, but the dwarves dropped the ball trying to get down Wurzag, he got the ball and made the TD.
1-0 and Thunder was kicking again! This time the dwarves went for the ball first, and the blocks second, still they got a few Thunder guys down. Thunder sent Darral after the ball, and hit back on the line.
Darral was hurt, but was saved by the medic. Now the game turned even rougher, both sides blocking hard. When it was clear that Bum´gman didnt have time to score, they went for blood, Darral went towards the end zone in case Thunder would get the ball, but Thunder only managed a few blocks in the last seconds.
Second half, and Thunder was receiving, Bugmans only with 10 guys on the pitch. Suddenly the clouds cracked and spilled tons of water on the pitch. Troll slipped in the mud and was KOed. Thunder was under a little pressure, but Wurzag got the ball. Jesus and Zarak went kinda deep, while Wurzag adn Gunzag stayed back with the ball, the dwraves saw the threat however, and jesus was KOed.
Having lost the pass-threat, Thunder went up one flank, while Gunsch and Gravasz was being beaten to a pulp in the opposite flank. Wurzag passed to the sightly faster Gunzag hoping he´d make the end zone in time. He couldnt, but Darral could, Dunzag went for the pass, Darraal got it and 2-0 for Thunder!
Only a few seconds left, Thunder formed to blitz, and did it! Fangs was thrown over the dwarven line, ran into the end zone and caught ball, but the ref was obviously bought and didnt reckognize the TD!
Still a 2-0 win for Thunder in a great game!
