“Here we go again sports fans - once more unto the breach!
The woodies choose to receive the kick as it's nice to have the ball and there’s nothing too much to report over the first couple of turns.
Turn 3 and the Woodies make their move.....not the most dramatic move but they’ve managed to squeeze into the oppositions half. A short lived venture as the ball carries is tackled, the ball bounces out of players and the fans kick it back onto the field. It looks like it was the Chaos fans that kicked the ball as it’s in a nice position for the Chaos players....this is gonna be a TD! No wait he has run for cover next to the Minotaur and left himself open on the blindside...there a no certainties in life and this stands true for BB too.
And there's the first KO - nothing serious but that Woody Lineman is out for the rest of this half. Ahh there's another injury and this time it looks a bit more serious (WE BH Turn 5). With two players off the pitch, it really is only going to be a matter of time before we see the Choas pact score. But wait the Choas pact players haven’t counted on the WE being able to dodge - and block. The ball is on the floor and still we are waiting for the Chaos pact to score.
Turn 6 and the WE players a teasing with the sideline and without much of a do the WE players goes surfing! Woodies are down to 8 and this is going to take a lot to stop the CP scoring. Another KO and 7 is always been a favourite number of the Woodies!
Turn 7 and the CP still decide not to go for the TD and risk it all on the last play of the half. Woodies are not in the strongest position but it at least they can make the CP work for their TD. And there's the TD - congratz to the CP and we set up into the second half with 9 Woodies vs 11 Chaos.

(Quick Stat - 32 Choas Blocks and only 1 WE Injury)

Turn 1 and the Woodies gain a blitz....nothing too much to do, as the kick is very deep. A cagey start to the half and the CP have lost the ball - is their coach a wee bit too defensive? Well they are still winning and I guess that's the most important thing. STOP! What is this? A Woodie that has actually KO'd a CP player! There's a player with some real talent!
Maybe not too much talent as he has just jumped into the middle of CP death trap.....phew only KO'd. And there's another KO for the Woodies - let me count the players on the pitch....7 there favourite number again!
Well the woodies are having a bit of a mare and the coach can't blame anything but himself and I think he will be lucky to get out the stadium alive.
This match is slow and somewhat like watching a dwarf vs dwarf match....push, push, push and not much more. The pushing has paid off for the Woodies as two CP going surfing! BUt at the cost of 1 Wood being KOd - down to 6 and no ball in hand. And the game finally finishes with no real moments in the final plays.
