About the not trying to win: Just watch the game yourself. I didn't bother to put anyone in "scoring position" on turn 15 because his catcher had the ball and would obviously just run away with it. I could have planned better for it, but I was happy with the tie. Note that I could have simply stalled out a tie without giving either of us a chance to score (he had ZERO players on the field) but thought it would make a more interesting game to go for the win.
Sour grapes can get ugly, and this guy certainly did.”

Overall, another player that barely plays within the rules. He outright violates the journeymen abuse rule. The playing to win? Not really:

<Eldred> you're the one who cared about a win

<Azure> you obviously do not play to win
<Eldred> I win where I can
In other words - a player to avoid. 4 clawpombers and then unskilled or journeymen rotters for the most part goes for complete bash early - wants to avoid winning because wants to keep FF down so he can pray on weaker teams.
Of course - he felt I was a bad sport because I tried to win and thought he should try to win instead of just bashing...and I am the poor sport because I think in a competitive division everyone is supposed to play to win...yeah that is being a bad sport.
