It is the first time that the Sunken Horrors have seen the race of Dark Elves, and while the darkness in their souls pleases the Horrors, they would still be better off with water in their lungs!
It is a tightly matched game, as Griff takes the ball in the first drive, waiting patiently for a hole in the defences of the Dark Elves. Unfortunately for the Horrors, it never came. The center of the offence switched now and then, and both sides tried to upset the delicate balance, but it never happened. The Sunken Horrors advanced somewhat, but the Dark Elf defence held tight, but neither did the Horrors give up the ball... Yet no score after the first half can be seen as a victory for the Dark Elves.
Especially considering how easy they score! In a lightning quick pace, it is Beatrix who runs in the first TOUCHDOWN of the match, one which the Horrors are helpless to stop. They are now forced to score in the remaining time, or Racing de Ugena wins. With Damnation Dreams catching the high kick, the drive is off to a good start, and there is definitely more control for the Horrors this time, as they shift up the pitch a little soon, and then Damnation Dreams sees his chance and breaks through to the side. However, the Sunken Horrors underestimate the agility of the Dark Elves, who manage to get their hands close to the ball carrier - yet fail to knock him down, which allows Damnation Dreams to SCORE!
A tight game, which the Sunken Horrors only managed to tie thanks to Damnation Dreams standing solidly on the land.”
