“A'salaam alikum!

We met the brave Coach erikekers at dawning light and offered him our hospitality in our Majlis where we took Suhoor and began the morning prayers.

Coach erikekers was most hospitable and he commented that our Faoud bin Basir had a number of many fine camels - a'masha'allah - and we told him the finest camel was Fatema who had birthed many calves and was a fine provider of Labahn or Camel Milk.

We were so engrossed in the discussion of camels and their wonderful way that they keep the Bedouins alive in the harshest of summers, we realised that Fatema was still on the pitch when the referee blew his whistle to start!! Al'humdila'allah!!! Fatema was scared by the noise of the whistle and proceeded to trample over all the poor elves and it wasnt until Hazem bin Khalifa had scored late in the first half that Fatema was subdued and able to be led from the field.

But alas, al'humdila'allah, two dead elves lay prone on the pitch... they had been trampled by Fatema's hooves and their blood was spilt.

The second half was brutal and whilst the brave elves managed a consolation score, it was a dire affair with the highlight being Farooq bin Aziz al Maktoum intercepting a pass and dodging his way to score.

Thalaatha wa Wahed was the end score... and we hope Mighty Allah, Protector of us all, blesses the souls of Miguel and Dugong.
