Somehow we stopped the first half DE offence. 99% luck, but somehow they didnt score. we had no chance to get the ball upfield once stolen, but at least it was 0-0 halftime.

Second half saw a deep kick and a high offensive line collide. the DE stormed through the ranks of orcs and pressed the ball, and got it loose from the non ball carrying orcs. there was then some very silly fails, and a shameful timeout i allowed by not really having any good ideas (i could have sat there for 30 mins and not had a good idea) before resolving on a bad one. But the DE deserved to oveeturn the ball and score, and so they did.


Then came the TV replay moment, a nice little chainpush allowed a lineorc to lineorc pass and 2 GFI without reroll into the endzone.

A very pissed off DE coach then neglected ball defense and when a dodge failed we scooped it up and marched it home for the 2-1.

A fun game where Nuffle blessed me, and a far better team went out.”
