“This was an odd game. I was on top early with 2 Cas to nil (including killing a Blitzer followed by a failed Apo) and had Dwarves on the back foot. However things went pear shaped in T6.
The Ghoul carrying the ball went to dodge away to position himself for a T7 or T8 score but rolled a 1, dodge re-roll 2 on the dodge and was BH. This was followed in the Dwarves turn by a Skull on a Trollslayer 1d block on a Mummy re-rolled into a Pow, which Cas'd the Mummy.
The Dwarves then grabbed the ball and took off down the field with it. Thankfully I was able to take down the Dwarven ball carrier and stop a score, but by half time I had lost my remaining Mummy (KO'd) and a second Ghoul (BH on a T8 gang foul).
0-0 at the half but my Mummy failed to come out of the KO box, as did a couple of others. Suddenly I was outnumbered on the field 7-10 and was down 2 Mummies and 2 Ghouls. Not good at all.
However Nuffle smiled upon me when the Dwarven ball carrier rolled a 1, re-roll 1 on a GFI and gave me a slim chance of salvaging something from the game. A Wight 2d Blitz knocked a Dwarf down and onto the ball, the ball scattering into the open arms of my Ghoul.
The Dwarves swarmed around the ball. Surrounded, the ball carrying Ghoul made a risky 4+ Dodge (with no Dodge re-roll thanks to Tackle) followed by a 1d Blitz to break into the Dwarven backfield. The Dwarves chased after him and forced a 4+ dodge, followed by a 3+ dodge to score but the Ghoul was able to slip away and score.
All 3 KO's came back at this point, evening the numbers back up. Despite their best efforts, the Undead defence was found wanting with the Dwarves walking in a T16 score, leaving a very topsy-turvey game tied at 1-1.

3 Votes: Happy - He certainly was. The re-rolled 1d Block to Cas the Mummy started the ball rolling for the Dwarves and he kept going, finishing with 3 Cas for the game.
2 Votes: Sleepy - Scored the game-tying TD for the Dwarves.
1 Vote: Krash - Took out Earl the Ghoul with a boot to the face.”
