“Second FC round.

This match was unspectacular. I won the coin toss and decided to kick. Weather was rainy and i thought that may help too. The Kickoff changed the weather but otherwise the plan worked. A full set of skilled players and the golems in the line to minimize damage and maximize force needed for the elves. Maurice was the hero of the first turns. Two KO´s and a SI (appod) befor he was knocke out on the elves defence breakthrough. But the elfes had a hard time to protect the ball and scored leaving me with three turns to score. Maurice didn´t wake up but i did play the passing game with my two AG4 Players, the ghoul as fast pickup player. 3+Pass and catch (TZ), 2d blizz, 2+ dodge with (Dodge) and 2 GFI. With using a team RR it worked. 1:1 Setting all my AV9 (SF and SS) in the line to either minimize damage again and otherwise block all possible 1t tricks gave no scoring chance.

In turn 2 i now recived. It was a total classical move forward. Build a cage and hit what i can. Fast KO´s on the two super stars sealed the elves fate.
After a unneccessary 2d block where i rolled snakes he got a chance to 1d hit my ballcarrier after ClawPOMB failed to even stun the ST4 Player (So don´t even do 2d blocks if not needed and would give you a slightly worse position. I learned to be really careful with rolls but sometimes ...). But without tackle, blodge and fend worked well. Rebuilt the cage and scored T8.

Overall i had a the better dice. The elves rolled a bunch of snakes but could cover most with there massiv RR bench.

Thanx for the good and tense game. I always fear to just loose against all kind of elves. They can just outball everyone, even with low numbers.
