“The elves won the cointoss and chose to kick since the rain was pouring. The hope was that the ball would be to slippery for the dorfs to pick up. This was wrong, but instead the elves got a try to knock the ball free. The ball was knocked free and both teams stumbled around to try to take possesion of the ball. The ball bounced on several dorf heads untill a lucky elf managed to pick it up, while the ball was guarded by 2 dorfs, and pass it away from the dorfs reach. The elves where eager to make a td and take a early lead, but since the dorfs bashed them up realy bad the only thing the elves could do were keeping the ball away from dorfs hands. A clever punt and the half ended 0-0.

2:nd half and the elves set up heavily on one side and were planning a fast td. Sadly a realy god kick and lightning fast dorf reaction totaly foiled this. The dorf moved up and the elves were overpowered on the line. The elves saw a shot to get the ball free, but forgot about the specialy tackled trained (dt) dorf that ended the elves play for the ball. The dorf managed to to take possesion and form a tight cage. A litle to tight, 7 dorf were hit by a fireball and the ball was free. A catcher raced down the pitch and a line-elf picked up the ball and threw it to the catcher. A coach error left the catcher open to a blitz, put the catcher took the dorfs block and stood. Then he blitz the dorf aside and made a td.
Now all the elves had to do were to keep the dorf from making a td. But the dorf steamrolled over the elves. While busy blocking down every elf in reach the dorf forgot to protect the ballcarrier that promptly got blitzed down. But the dorfs continued down the pitch like nothing happened and picked up the ball and tossed it into td range. The elves tried desperately to stop the td, but their lack of numbers made it impossible. Second half ended 1-1.

Ot started with the elves chosing tails on the cointoss, but it the coin landed heads and the dorf recived the ball. A mighty fine kick that landed in the dorf endzone raised the elves hope. The rain was still pouring and the hope was that the dwars would fail a pickup and bounce it out into the crowed. First try and the dorf failed the pick up and the ball bounced into the corner. THe elves prepared to rush down the field and threaten the 2 dorf runners that guarded the ball. Sadely the dorf line keept the elves tied down and takled any elf that tried to run away. The dorf confidently marched the ball down the field. A last opportunity to take down the dorf runner with the ball. A line-elf marked up the dorf blocker that protected the runner while a catcher raced around and prepared to blitz the ball free. The catcher came in in at full speed and launched himself in the air to flatten the runner. Sadly the only thing that was flattened was the catchers nose as he landed face down in the dirt. The dorf runner then strolled into the endzone and ended the game 2-1.

The elves wish the dorfs good luck in the rest of FC and hope they flatten their next opponent.”
