“A hard-fought win, the humans of Los cocinitas brought the brass knuckles for sure. There were 5 CAS total, 1 caused by a failed Dodge. Of those 5, two were on ghouls, and 3 were on Regenerative players. Only 1 of those 3 actually regenerated. Gurney was tenacious, though he wasn't at his best. He failed several dodges in the 1st half, but kept the ball covered when it mattered. 2nd half he was taken down by a 1 die blitz that required a gfi and a POW. The humans showed some grit and tenacity of their own, but the Dune crew pulled it together in T7 and made some running room for Gurney to punch it in. Next kickoff heard the cheering fans get behind the humans and they got a badly needed reroll. They sent some receivers downfield, but the thrower bobbled the pickup. The Undead covered as many as they could, knocked the catcher down, and delivered some late hits including a 3rd Badly Hurt (and 2nd of the game for Feyd-Rautha). Last turn the humans still had an outside chance of a pass/hand-off to score but the pass was errant even with the reroll and the game ended.

Too bad the MVP went to the -AG busted ghoul, who we will almost certainly replace with the excellent winnings. No skills, but FF went up. Overall TV should go down, especially with Thufir missing a game. Who says humans can't bash?
