“Ouch, we got Elfed. Which is different from being nuffled, though Nuffle certainly helped at times. Such as all the Kickoff events that went against me (like 2 Blitzes when I was receiving). So much for hiring cheerleaders and assistant coaches, they were completely useless this game. Even the thrown rock KO'd me and only Stunned the elves :(

But this is what happens when elves are on their game and I couldn't do much except watch as the ball went past me in the wrong direction. Even the block dice weren't helping me. And I learned a lesson: never, never, NEVER spend gold to induce Bloodweiser babes if it is going to give elves the same inducement. This would have been a completely different game without the babes as I would have had a man advantage after the first TD. I never really did get the numbers advantage as the elves were always able to field 10.

Update: This was the team's first loss. I checked our match record, and it's only our 2nd game against elves. The other game was a tie (also Pro Elves). Lesson here: stop playing elves until we get more Tackle.”
