Match itself was as expected for my should-be-retired Khemri team (which happened to be the only near rookie Ranked team I had). First half I did not manage to bring down his isolated ball carrier with a 2db, having spent my re-roll on my sole GFI. Ballcarrier promptly dodged away into the endzone! Other than that, pretty competitive first half where I probably would have shut the opponent out completely score-wise on another day.
Second half was very typical Khemri. My 'surehands' passer spent no less than four turns of failing to pick up the ball, each time with a 75% probability of picking it up. By the time he did, opponents were all over my backfield and it left him exposed to a GFI'ing Tomb Guard for a blitz. A scrap ensued, and my attempt at a very ridiculous move on turn 7 that involved picking it up in a tacklezone, handing it off and catching in a tz, and then passing it down to a tomb guard in a tz, surprisingly didn't work! :P As a result, with no safety first taken, the Milki blitzer was able to 1db a skeleton out of the way, pick up the ball then run and gfi twice into the endzone for a second score.
Regardless of my critical dice failures at the important times above (like half of my second half picking the damn ball up), I can't actually say it was all one way luck wise. For example, I did manage to rack up the casualties and didn't suffer any myself until rather late in the game.
All in all, a pleasant enough game but a definite reminder as to why I never want to play with this silly team again! XD”
