Where do I start? Not only did my regenerate fail on 5 of 7 occaisions, it worked only on the Badly Hurt and also on a zombie that copped a mng...
The big killer blows on my Wight and my Mummy failed and I lost a swag of skels and zombies as well.
Bad luck was one thing, but Coach Twahn was actually calling his shots...
The game got off to a bad start when Coach Twahn declared Nightsorrow was "dead meat" on his first blitz and bang, he was - AG drop and all...
The next to go was the Lord of Death in turn 2 or 3 and then it was downhill from there.
Nevertheless, I still had a chance to take the lead with a simple dodge with a ghoul, but I failed that as well and had my AV broken to boot...
I don't want to sound like a whinger though, and we will certainly cop a pasting in Round 2 due to lack of personnel, but Twahn did play a great game and deserved the win...
In particular given it was raining most of the match, the Khemri handled the ball rather well with their AG 2 line up... which rubbed salt into the wounds...
