“This was a mad game early on but turned out rather frustrating with plenty of chances to get a better result disappearing.
First off we hoped for a quick td but were blitzed. The Pact surrounded our LOS but the agile Dark Elf charged forward and badly hurt himself (Joe chose not to rr the fall). In fact for that he was not deemed worthy to be shown on th ematch report stats! We picked up and tried to get an ok position to advance but following that a dodgy marauder blitzed superstar Skratz Dashitz and sent him into retirement (even with the apo's help to avoid death)! A great blow to us as he was the last of our star/superstar bunch that have all been disposed of in the last several games. We now have a more novice look than we entered the FUMBBL cup not so long ago.
So after that our drive failed and the marauders advanced. The one glint of hope was that we managed to ko 2 and badly hurt 1 of theirs from the edge of their cage. But still they got their td. Next half could have been interesting as we were players up. But a succession of bad key rolls for us including rerolled gfi fails meant it didn't work out. Time to regroup!”
