“Pleased to get a win here as we were well down on tv but in the end didn't really use the inducements. The Mino Gnashrak would have worked out more useful here perhaps. We started by receiving in the snow. First turn the BC pickup failed but we ko'd z ombie. Next turn we picked up and a Chaos Dward Badly hurt a zombie, but he regn'd. Then a zombie was banned for a nasty foul and Munta Quickdrop suffered a very serious injury from a block by Necrophilia. It was a tricky advance with both sides losing another player from the field but by turn 6 we were clear. Turn 8 Lord Thunderbone blitzed through to score. I was then totally appalled to find I had to place star Zzharg Madeye on the field for one turn for him then to get an almost instant ban.
The weather improved 2nd half. Wrath the Wight had the ball and after some pressure got a little separated from the main bunch. First attempt we didn't get him so he went back to the pack. Next time he moved down the flank we eventually got to him and a hobgobbo got the crucial ko. After that we did just enough to stop the Undead getting the ball back, though a 4+ pickup could have been done. We also used a lightning bolt just for giggles. Good game overall.”
