“A fun macth against a great opponant. Comedey of errors at times and some evidence of Lizards having eaten Nuffle-flakes for breakfast. Thanks mate :-)
First half saw the Baah-Baahs recieve and drive forward, loose the ball but regain it and score following a nice pass to the end zone by Saul Wrenn to allow Sam "Rookie" Neilson to garner his first TD for the club.
The restart saw Xtra Fin Lizards hit back, but sadly they enjoyed hitting the floor too much and allowed the Baah Baahs back into their rear territories. Just as Frankie "Flash" Gorden was racing to the TD line he saw his coach wave him over to assist in a foul of a prone skink (Royston). The foul saw a stun, but imediately following teh foul Frankie got confused and failed to blitz his way to the TD Zone for what would have meant a 2-0 lead for teh Baah-Baahs.
The dressing room was blue at half time as Frankie blamed his coach and the vice versa.
Second half saw a similar situation to the Lizard drive in the first half....TWICE!!!
To be turned over on your own offense three times (albeit once escaping by the slenderest of margins) is either bad luck or woeful team work. Many pundits agree that Coach Dalfort needs to boil a couple of Sauri and make an example of them for the next game :-)”
