“After losing to Halifax earlier in the game, tension was high as the rematch loomed. However, we had trained hard and developed some skills...while Halifax had lost their wardancers...so this time were were on par for the contest. Quickly, it turned one sided however, as we crunched the elves left and right. We attempted to spread around the scoring, but the ball was on the ground on turn 8 so Mike Celluci came to the rescue and grabbed the ball in several tackle zones and dodged free for the touchdown and 1-0 halftime lead.

In he second half, a failed pickup gave the elves a chance to score - but instead we surfed Savesh into the crowd - supposedly killed...but actually kidnapped by our agents in the crowd to serve us as a thrall! Needless to say, we got the ball back and a pass and handoff downfield gave Celluci another touchdown. As the game neared the end, we had three turns and after another pass, it was Celluci scoring his third TD.

Mike Celluci may not have many votes for Player of the Month for the first month...but he racked up an impressive 12 spp this game (CMP, 3 TD, 1 CAS).”
