“Finals of the Smack Street IX event.

Dwarven Lords received and quickly moved up the field along the sidelines. After a turn that featured a Nordic God gfi, dodge and 1 dice pow - the ball squirted free and the rest of the half was spent scrumming for the ball.

2nd half saw the Nordic gods receiving the kick down 1 man and scoring on turn 6 despite being down 3 men due to some very nice elvan dodging (I really need someone to teach these dwarves that fine technique)!

The Dwarven Lords received the ball up 7 to 4 but blitzer Thalin Orcstriker was taken out by a rock from the crowd (ko) and the blitzing Trollslayer Valen Trollkiller failed on his blitz with the skull - spelling his death before the trusty doctor managed to patch him up.

Attempting a desperation turn 7 handoff the Lords Tunnel Runner attempted to do the old 2 GFI and a hand-off move. Sadly he tripped over his shoelaces on the first GFI and thus ended any winning chances for the Dwarven Lords.

All in all a fun match -- very enjoyable chat with the opponent -- a few kills for the crowd -- and a doctor who actually remembered his medical bag --
