For bloodbowl fans this match had everything! Brutal bloodletting, amazing plays, stars, a wizard, changing tides and fortunes, opportunities for both teams to put the match away before catastrophe.

Seriously, one of the most epic matches I've ever played in. If you like Bloodbowl, watch the replay.

Coach Johhn Harbog in the post game interview:

"Coach, can you speak to your game plan today?"

"Well, our last game vs. St. Louis was a hard-fought match but in the end we handled the Yams pretty well, so we were confident heading in. Quite frankly, had already begun to look ahead to the Superior Bowl vs. the Smackers, and hadn't really developed much of a game plan other than to try and take out Chris 'Daddy's Boy' Long as early as possible."

"Speaking of the infamous Daddy's Boy, what about that early first half foul the resulted in an ejection which put your team at a player disadvantage for the rest of the match...do you regret that decision?"

"Not at all. You have to recall, Long had been carving our team up at that point, taking out our Krox and Trell 'Get Some' Suggs on two consecutive turns. It was a calculated risk and one that didn't pan out. On the upside, the ejection caused the Yams to use their Wizard early, and quite frankly, even though the foul only KO'd Long, he wasn't nearly as effective the rest of the match. And we got him in the end. That hip doesn't look like it's going to get better! HAHAHA!"

"Coach, the game looked lost early in OT when Diven's choked on a block and left the ball open for a blitz deep in your own half, which was the second time Pall 'Freddy' Kruger's poor positioning allowed the Yams to take him down. Thoughts?"

"Kruger was amped up and a little too aggressive that's for sure. But he obviously didn't expect Laymaar 'High' Divens to choke on a block vs. a weaker player. Still, even though it looked hopeless, the lads were able to get back, and flatten the Yam with the ball and ultimately we came away with it."

"Word is St. Louis is asking for a formal review of the film when their player 'tripped' at the goal line for what appeared to be the game winner."

"What can I say? What's done is done. I've already got word from League Officials that the result will stand and no review will be allowed, so those Yams just need to suck it up. Fish Stank Stadium is in the middle of a swamp...you have to expect that sometimes snakes get on the field. It's called 'Home Field Advantage'. Just ask the Soilers about that har har har.
