Receiving and scoring in turn 8, I put 3 sidesteppers on the LoS to prevent an OTTD. This was to no avail, as a riot KOR (and an error in my defense) allowed for a 2TTD instead.
Second half saw a quick easy steal from my AG5 leap strip baller. An amazing round of blocks saw the ball back in the lizard claws for the 2-1, but without a chance to stall.
Poor lizard and good elf recovery dice made the equalizer doable, though it did take 8 2+ rolls (with skill + team reroll) at some point.
Overtime coin went to the lizards but KO and cas left them undermanned, and a steal was inevitable. Delves made a few spp passes to skill their runner, and then ran in the TD for a final score of 3-2.”
