“The skaven team arrives fully prepared for the game : 15 players squad, lean TV, 4 developed gutters and good vermins.
On the opposite side, the orcs are a more raw team but with a high damage potential with lots of tackle/MB players, including BoBs.

The orc team receives the ball and proceeds to create a cage close to the LoS. But the thrower fumbles the ball and a lucky bounce gives the ball to the rats. Unfortunately, the quick score cannot be achieved due to loosy blocks (only pushes on stand firm guys). A snaked dodge by a gutter and a failed pickup by the orcs leave the ball on the ground. A gutter makes a 5+ pickup to steal it.
This is where it gets ugly ... The blitz on the ball carrier gives a death on the gutter that us confirmed by the apoth (dang) but the dying rat has the time for a street hand-off. The first TD is secured.

The orcs tie on a gobbo throw and the skavens miss the one-turn despite quick snap.
1-1 half time.

11 players for the skavens but only 2 gutters left with one SI. The attack is very messy. The vermins are tied up and the orcs manage to cover both sidefields.
With a gutter in passer mode, there is only one safe solution in offense.
Last chance with the crippled guard gutter going deep ... he is blitzed and stay on feet.
The wizard steps in and zaps his guardian tackler. After a 3+ score and catch, he can dodge safely for the 2-1.

This time the gobbo throw fails with a landing of the gobbo on Hulk robot (who had just failed a gfi and stunned himself). Hulk robot gets the MVP for this heroic defense :D


A very tense but funny game with orcs unlucky on ball rolls but quite good at permanently injuring rats ...
We will be missing a gutter next game and another one will be just a rookie.
