“First match and 7 thousand curious elves came to see this new team made of other team’s rejections.

The game started with the skaven team on the offense and sending elves to the KO box. Half through the first half and there were already 3 elves there.

But the next minutes things changed. One rat is sent to the KO box and another one while trying to block Aerandir Anwarünya got himself badly hurt


Now the rejects are on the offense.


Late in the first half Rejects offense broke free and Ereinion Felagund makes a run towards the goal but that run ended when overstretching himself going for it saw him on the floor and badly hurt. Maybe the other coaches had some reasons to cut him and today he didn't show enough to shut them up.

Brandon Whitaker team saw their opportunity to score before half with a good combination from gutter runners but the pass failed due to weather conditions.

So the half came and the score was still 0-0.

Second part started with both teams below max strength, 10-9 in Elves favor.

The rats came out flying blitzing the Rejects and made them run to protect the ball but the elves fought back hurting rats, pushing them out the field and give the fans something to hit too but the rats kept coming and always seem to find out a hole in Rejects' defense to threat them.

So everything resumed to the last minutes. After some nice plays the rats were in scoring position with the Rejects hoping on a miracle to save them. Nessa run back to mark the opposite player while Finwë Singollo got himself in scoring range.

All were in the hands of Lólindir Calafalas, the only one who could blitz and save the score. However failing his dodge he was on the floor with a pretty nice view to the touchdown (amazingly after the match he got the MVP due to his failed attempt to save the team).

The fans were in shock. The 4 remaining skaven players were going to snatch the victory. To free himself from Nessa the rat tried to block her. Being a thrower Nessa is not an expert in the arts of blocking but she gathers all her strength and sent the rat to the floor making the stop.

The crowd was crazy. Nessa step up and pick up the ball from the floor, run towards the middle of the field and let the ball go in the air, a perfect spiral to the awaiting hands of Finwë. He run he scored and the rest were for the books.

The rejects showed heart and got their first victory. This could be the beginning of a Cinderella story for them.
