The second half was a real turn around. When Filth failed to pick up the lose ball, Hawk was an opportunist. Swooping in he clutched the live ball and scored as quickly as possible.

Kondor's teams rarely play for a draw so they put pressure on the vile beasts as quickly as possible. Each side saw players carted to the bench, but there were enough elves to harass the ball carrier. With a prayer to Nuffle, a one on one blitz dislodged the ball and once again the ballhawk snatched it up.

This time the score left little space for Gluttony to recover. A couple of risks and some timely luck managed to bring a win to the flock. ”
