“Reveling in the undergoat position the herd had nothing to lose and everything to prove in the season opener. Taking the kick off and opening up turn 1 with a KO and a BH things were looking good. Continued heavy hitting saw Jealous Guy run it all the way for a TD in turn 7. A lapse of judgement by defensive star Remedy (got in the way of a blitz on the ball) gave the Humans a slim chance and they took it in style! Ritchie II made 4 ddges at 4+ and the last one at 3 to score the TD out of the pack and tie it up 1-1! High Elf scouts were taking notice in case ally rules are ever introduced ;-)

The second half saw the I-House make a beautiful break up the corridor but a scrambling blitz from Amorica put the ball on the ground to save the day. A sloppy series of fumbles, failed dodges and skull blocks from both sides saw a scrum develop over the ball...but the goats finally woke up and but some smack on too clear the way for HorseHead to run it out.
Again the goats almost found a way to throw it away when a simple clearing blitz led to a failed dodge (what is he doing?!? the crowd roars) But thankfully the House had run out of POW and he scooted up the sideline for the winning TD.
Notable stats were 24 blocks overall for the House versus 55 for the Horned ones...tough to win when getting half the hits. Amorica laid on 11 blocks and JealousGuy was our MVP with the big TD and a CAS. Note that this Beastman of foul nature has mutated AGAIN to now have Claw AND Razor Sharp Claw. Hoping to avenge his dismal showing in season 3 with some nasty plans for season 4.
