“A very close game. The BBB were very quickly down 1-0 as the Running Joke used some fast Skinkfootwork. This TD came at a price however, as experienced Skink player Crack left the game on a stretcher after a brutal block from the Ork Blitzer Krazgor.

The BBB looked ill at ease as the weather changed and it suddenly became scorching hot. The Boyz mobbed the Joke's front line and fouled their Kroxigor causing him to be badly hurt, but to the shock of all watching, the Joke used their scant medical supplies to keep the big guy in the game! The Joke then played excellent defence to deny the BBB a score for the whole second half of the opening period, despite losing another player for the match due to Krazgor's ferocious hitting.

In the second half, the scorching heat kept two Boyz off the pitch whilst another two were still knocked out. The Joke had one player knocked out, two injured and one taking a sun bake in the extrememly hot weather.

The Boyz pushed forward hard, sending a group of 3 players down the right wing whilst the rest exchanged blows with Sauruses and the Kroxigore near the line of scrimmage.

The BBB were desperate to win this game, and for the first time in their career, fouled twice in the same game, knocking out a fallen Skink before scoring their first TD.

With just over half of the second period remaining, the Joke lined up with just 6 players - their Kroxigor, 5 Sauruses and a Skink. The Boyz however, could still field 11 despite two knockedout players.

Afte the next kickoff, the Joke eventually picked up the bouncing ball and ran backwards as the Boyz had stolen a quick step on them, after several moments had been lost failing to pick up the ball.

The bruiser types exchanged blows on the line of scrimmage and tried to shephed each other away from the lone skink with the ball that was running first one way, and then the other with the ball.

With minutes left in the game, the Boyz eventually reached the Skink and flattened him, but the ball was just out of reach behind the fallen player, right in the corner of the end zone! The Skink got up, and bravely jumped on the ball to send it out of bounds, hoping the crowd would send it way out of reach of nearby Boyz. Unfortunately, the ball landed just on the other side of Boyz blitzer Gnashrog Foulbreath who celebrated as he picked up the loose ball and ran in the score, leaving a bewildered Skink cowering in the corner wondering why Foulbreath had not pushed him out of bounds first given he had the time to do that and score (2 Rerolls left too).

When interviewed about this incredible act of mercy, Foulbreath said, 'Well if I killed him, den he wudent see me score my touchdown den would he den? Now he can die. U be so kind as ta tell me where he gon to?' ”
