#17 Harold Fastrock – Broken Jaw (MNG)
The Dark Elves showed some incompetence again today though a last second Dwarf trip made up for some of the shock rolls in an encounter without tds but much action.
In turn 2 Ajax was rushing forward with the ball but he was taken down by a Trollslayer. He then had a fairly easy chance to regain the ball to score but crucially failed a 2+ roll dodge. Rerolls had already been used up easily in the first two turns. After tht it was always gonna be a struggle as the Dwarfs caged but at least we kept them slow. Throughout the game Giltar risked a lot of 1d and surprisingly even 2d against blocks with frenzy but just seemed to keep powing. Second half there was some real scraps though our numbers dwindled. 6 Elves went out to 1 Dwarf by the end through their remarkable blocks. We did though take the ball a few times from some of our chances but just couldn't keep hold of it. Finally we were relieved to see a failed Dwarf action in the end when their blitzer fell as glory beckoned.
