“Brutal Crimson were welcomed to the Big Leagues today, receiving an absolute beating in the game against Lyon. Coach Katana can barely remember parts of this game as he was too busy jumping up and down in a rage, as his team blundered around like a stranded hippo! Lyon suffered no such setbacks as they battered their way through the Crimson line with relative ease, leaving a string of KO’d and injured players in their wake.

The game could perhaps be encapsulated by a moment in the first half, when Crimson had managed to line up a 1 dice block on Lyon’s rampaging minotaur. Hard case blocker Hasut stepped up, threw a skull, re-rolled, threw a skull, and hit the ground with a serious injury! Elsewhere three Hobgoblins maimed themselves with failed 3+ dodges and Bragus the Bull Centaur got KO’d and slept through two kick offs, despite thick skull and a Bloodweiser babe! It was, as Coach Katana commented sourly, “One of those games!”

The scoreline ultimately flattered Crimson. After reducing Crimson to 4 players on the pitch by mid-way through the second half, Lyon stalled on the line rather than run in an easy TD. Mercifully, the referee then ended play early after witnessing a foul, meaning the score line stayed at a respectable 1- 0. However, Brutal Crimson were left under no illusion that they had got their arses well and truly kicked!
