“Brutal Crimson took on their second human opponents in the form of Tercio de Estalia. With a huge mismatch in team value, Tercio were able to bring along bloodwesier babes, wandering apothecaries and a wizard – this roving reporter has heard that it was a hell of a party on the sidelines!

Crimson kicked to the humans and Tercio’s thrower held the ball deep in the human’s half, waiting for the catchers to get in position. Crimson’s players lost their cool and got sucked into brawls around various places on the pitch. Before they knew it 3 catchers had burst downfield and two of them were being marked by snivelling hobgoblins! All it took was a blitz, a pass, a catch – and a well-worked Tercio touchdown was the result!

A touchback on the kick allowed Crimson to place the ball in the hands of Brak the Bull. Crimson then punched their way forward, leaving a blitzer and a thrower out cold! Reliant on catchers to try and slow down the Crimson drive, Tercio were unable to stop Brak running in a last turn TD.

Second half started with a lucky kick off that bounced right into Brak’s hands usually clumsy hand! Crimson started another drive and had punched a gap in the human line when suddenly a Wizard’s fireball hit the pocket and put Brak face down in the dirt! Luckily no one else was caught in the blast. The ball bounced free, with a human catcher fumbling it through a huge crowd of players. Crimson's bulls and blockers were able to seal off the ball until Scruffz the hobgob laid his hands on it. Tercio fought hard to prevent the score but some heavy hits from Chaos Dwarfs broke up the defence and put several humans down and out!

Short on numbers in the latter part of the second half, Tercio came out looking for a desperate play. A huge long bomb pass downfield landed close to the Crimson endzone – a brawl followed and for a split second it looked as if Tercio might grab a last gasp equaliser....but there were just too many tackle zones around the ball to dig it out. This exciting game ended with a Brutal Crimson victory – 2-1 at the final whistle.
