“BATTLEGROUND round 1 match #1

The dwarves of Storybrooke faced off against some shady looking frogs from POWtown. Not sure why these strangers were in town, the dwarves lined up and prepared to keep them from pillaging the cupboard. Sadly the frogs got into the cupboard but didn't make off with everything. The dwarves answered the green TD with 2 of their own after some hard fought battles. The highlight of these had to be the double down, double KO between David Nolan and Gravedigger! Unfortunately for the Characters, Gravedigger's Thick Skull worked. The real battle came at the end when the Posse had 4 turns to score and David decided to take a nap in the KO box (stupid Thick Skull not working). The Posse really started putting the hurt on the dwarves, sending Mary Margaret to the dug-out and giving Leroy the Janitor a game off. But a failed handoff did them in, giving the Characters the opportunity to mark the ball and knock down every frog within striking distance of the endzone. The final whistle blew and Storybrooke saw it's first happy ending of the season. We hope there will be many more.
