“A very very close game. The Pretty Women received to start the game, and then spent the entire first half flattening every Stealer in sight just by looking at them. Not a single Amazon fell over from blocking, nor fell from getting tackled, nor tripped on a GFI. In fact, the Women finished the first half with 4 Team Rerolls (got a bonuse on the kick off).

Whilst the Women regularly flattened the Stealers, they had problems getting through their paper thin armour, and so despite spending the entire half getting off the ground to play defence, there was still a decent number of rats out there to almost thwart the Women from scoring. Almost, but not enough, with the Women combining well to score the first TD late in the opening period.

In the second half, the Women kicked off and Gutter Runner Thanquol started proceedings by demonstrating his excellent agility, getting tackled on a regulation simple easy peasy dodge, falling on his face and seriously injuring himself!

The Women went on the offensive, and even stole the ball near the line of scrimmage, but the Stealers recovered with Thrower Snitch Silvertongue throwing to Gutter Runner Sneakkwik just yards from the end zone. 1-1 with about a half of the second period remaining.

The Women and Stealers tussled hard, and with minutes to go before the final siren, the Women pushed the ball deep towards the endzone along the right sideline. The Gutter Runner brothers Sneakkwik and Kwikkwik then combined to knock the ball loose. The Women pushed the Runners back, flattening one of them, but Sneakkwik pushed an Amazon player onto the ball and it went out of bounds and back behind the line of scrimmage!

With seconds left in the game, the Women managed to pick up the ball with a Linewoman, throw an accurate short pass, catch it, and then go for it into the endzone to score the winning TD.

What a game. First half was very frustrating, with my luck rating over 20% behind Csonti's the entire half, though he was unlucky not cause more injuries with him flattening players every single turn. My luck improved in the second half, but it was not to be as it was too difficult to regain the lost ground from the opening period. ”
