Not exactly...
The Bulltrots definitely showed their achilles heal, ball handling. Pick ups dropped, hand off dropped, sloppy dodging from Tom and Drew. The Ravenitis played exceptionally well, in spite of being down players for most of the 1st half, they still managed to force the Bulls to score sooner than they would have liked, or risk some heavy blitzes on Zoltan, the defacto ball handler for the team.
With 3 turns left in the 1st half the Ravenitis were able to execute a rather simple scoring drive, as Danny Thickhead tripped trying to frenzy one of their players to the sideline, and the rest of the bulls were then unable to get into any kind of position to stop Grotty on his way to the end zone.
The Bulls also found themselves kicking to a Ravenitis team with 10 players still standing to start the 2nd half, and the Ravenitis KOed Zoltan and stunned the rest of the Bulls line while setting up their drive.
However, from that point on, the Bulls blitzing tandem of Hackerson and Killoy were able to thin the Ravenits players from the field. Even so, Grotty got the ball and was looking to take a dash up the sideline, defended by Grashnak and a Warrior, the rest of the Bulls were semi tied up, and let's face it, Blockers aren't that mobile to begin with. The tide changed permanently when Grashnak double skulled a block that would have opened a decent line for Grotty to exploit. Hackerson was able to get a path cleared on Grotty and he drilled him into the ground, but the Bulls were unable to get any other players in position to surround the ball and Boldin, who was still standing near by, dodged in, grabbed the ball, and attempted a pass to Grashnak.
Of course Grashnak couldn't come up with the ball, though between him and the Warrior near by the Bulls couldn't get anyone to it either, though they did surround it, and continued to knock out Ravens in the middle of the field.
The final nail for poor coach Ritzi was Grashnak skulling another blitz, and removing himself from the pitch after he fell down. At that point with 4 turns left for the Bulls, and the Ravens down to 4 players, all Ghostkowski had to do was manage to pick up the ball.
He did, and even though his hand off attempt to Tom failed, he was able to recover on turn 7 and simply wait for turn 8 to march in for the winner.
Well played Ritzi, the dice kept on telling you that you had no chance, yet you had the ball with a reasonable shot at going up 2-1 in the 2nd half before the wheels completely fell off. Your defense in the 1st half was great as well, getting yourself 3 turns to equalize. I did have to RR many blocks, but never came up empty :)”
