“Nice, fair game, with no casualties save a line elf that I think ended up that way when Cirion failed a dodge and, unfortunately, failed the apothecary roll.
I managed to score twice during my first, receiving half, and then the Woodland rumblers quickly replied during second, with a touchdown I was completely unable to stop after a failed leap. That left me with 5-6 turns to score though, and I took my time (the two-turn TD isn't all that easy with MA6 and no throwers) and made 3-1 in the game's final turn.
Luckwise, I believe the luck-meter is decently accurate. I was rather lucky early on when Cirion failed a pass, and during two kickoffs that resulted in a thrown rock in my favour, and subsequently two knocked out line elves. On the other hand, that was about as lucky as I got, although I didn't have much bad luck either. Double skulls and a twice-failed leap cost me both rerolls very early on in second half, but in return I managed my last drive even without them - needless to say, there were no desperate plays involved.
Cirion on his side, shaped up after a few bad turns early on, and proceeded to pull off a staggering number of 1db blocks as well as dodges, many of them through several squares of my players' TZ:s, with very few backfires, all throughout the match. Then again, when he did fail, it ended up costing him a niggled player.
Either way, thanks for the game Cirion, and good luck with the team.”
