“Was a tough one with nuffle yet again laughing at our cursed Elf gang. First half turn 1 was decent with a ko but after that things went poorly. Turn 3 we went for a handoff to Mercy for a td attempt but the influence of disturbing presence lead to a major fail despite the rr. We had a couple of chances to retrieve the ball the next two turns but had bad rolls. The Nurgle later got the ball away for an important td. Mercy did have one great moment near the end of the half as she appeared to kill the final Nurgle beast. Alas it was little help as the foul thing regenerated.
Second half was further frustration as the Nurgle just needed to keep the ball. We did have some chance as a risky 1d block and skulls left us bodies in to attack the carrier. Alas we got three push dice. Eventually the Ultimos got away and scored a 2nd. Tough match.”
