“In their 8th Battleground match, the Posse faced off against last season's champion Killer O's in a bruiser of a match. While they were out casualtied and outmanned most of the time, the Slann were able to steal the ball away from the Orcs on two separate occasions, to allow for a quick follow-up TDs both times. In a surprising (crushing?) 3-0 upset, the Posse recorded their first victory of the tournament! While not a serious contender for the championship this time around, the team is hoping that this game marks a turning point in their development. [Note: They've also decided that a team Apothecary is needed... hired.]

Kudos to coach Fangbanger for hanging in there for what had to be a frustrating match. The dice were not in his favor, but he kept a lighthearted attitude, and made a worthwhile opponent!”
