“A match that started with a blazing heat weather role meant that after the first TD, anything could happen. The norse kicked to the elves, who had a good chance to score, but they burnt their only re-roll early, and failed a scoring GFI in the endzone. The wardancer then put himslef in the cas box with a desperate leap into 3 tackle zones that failed. During the four turns it took this to happen, the norse KO'd five players, and ran easily to the opposite endzone with the ball, scoring turn 8. The second half saw KO recoveries and heat exaustion place 9 norse against 8 elves, but the Miners took it to the endzone again, all but uncontested, as the elf coach tired of failing dice rolls. 1 cas, 2 TD's, and a well placed MVP means both Miner runners earn a skill in time for game 3.”
